Superb story and excellent readers! I was a bit intimidated given the abundance of alien names and technical terminology in science-fiction, but one strength of Mercurio’s writing is that it is laden with neither. Instead, he presents a riveting tale of a world whose inhabitants communicate through their sense of smell, trying to make contact with an orbiting vessel from Earth. I listened to the entire podcast on a drive through New England and was thoroughly riveted.
